Why go for chemical peels?

Acne, fine lines and wrinkled, blemished, unevenly pigmented or sun damaged skin can be visibly improved through a chemical peel. By means of the treatment, skin becomes more elastic and appears more youthful.

What are chemical peels?

A chemical peel is a chemical solution used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin. To accomplish this task, the chosen peel solution induces a controlled injury to the skin.

How does it work?

A chemical peel involves the professional application of a chemical solution to the skin. The chemical solution causes the skin to dry out and reveals a new layer of skin that is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. While the basic chemical peels require no anaesthetics or downtime afterwards, some procedures may require anaesthetics to be administered and up to six days of downtime.
